তাঁর নিজের রাজ্যে যখন পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনে বার বার গণতন্ত্রের হত্যা হয়েছে তখন চুপ করে থেকেছেন। তবে আজ ৩ রাজ্যের ভোট গণনা শুরু হওয়ার পর কংগ্রেসের জয়কে গণতন্ত্রের জয় বলে ট্যুইট করেছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় । এদিন ট্রেন্ড স্পষ্ট হতেই সোশাল মিডিয়ায় ট্যুইট করে মমতা বলেন দেশবাসী বিজেপিকে স্বীকার করেনি। এই জয় অন্যায় ও অবিচারের বিরুদ্ধে জয়। এই জয় গণতন্ত্রের জয়।
