বৃহস্পতিবার তিনটি উত্তর-পূর্ব রাজ্যের বিধানসভা নির্বাচনের ফলাফল ঘোষণা করার পরে, প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি বলেছেন যে নির্বাচনের ফলাফল গণতন্ত্রের প্রতি মানুষের বিশ্বাস করে বিজেপিকে বিশ্বাস করে ভোট দিয়েছেন, তিনি আরো বলেন যে, যে উত্তর- পূর্বাঞ্চলও খুব দূরে নয়, দিল্লি না হৃদয় থেকে।
